st. petersburg free clinic
The St. Petersburg Free Clinic is located in our downtown Healthy Community Initiative neighborhood. In collaboration with volunteer health care providers, five other health care organizations and the Pinellas County Department of Health, the clinic provides over 6,000 patient visits annually to individuals with little money but who do not qualify for government insurance programs. Due to current economic conditions, the Clinic has experienced a marked increase in families and individuals in need of health care services. Bon Secours St. Petersburg Health System has providied funds to help support the expansion of the hours of Clinic operation to include additional hours on Wednesdays and new hours on two Saturdays per month. In addition, the Clinic plans to expand and offer dental services through volunteer dentists with space and equipment provided by the Department of Health.
