family lifeline
Family Lifeline offers services to provide in-home support through Family Lifeline's Healthy Families program which offers new and expecting parents the support they need to raise children who are safe, healthy, and ready to learn. Family Lifeline’s services include:
- Comprehensive needs assessment and referrals
- Intensive in-home visitation and one-on-one support
- Access to parent education classes and infant-toddler play groups
- Connections to needed community resources and services
The goal of this service to families is to strengthen positive parenting knowledge and behavior; improve maternal and child health; promote optimal child development and school readiness; as well as reduce the stressors associated with child abuse and neglect. Family Lifeline’s service is offered through referrals from Health Beginnings, community organizations as well as Richmond Community Hospital’s emergency department.
